SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN CULTURE IN STORY AND SONG

Join us for a Weekend of SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN CULTURE IN STORY AND SONG at Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center in Abingdon, VA which will include Scot/Irish Heritage and History led by internationally known traditional musician Anne Lough. We will go through music which will include ballads, dance, dulcimers, folk hymns and spirituals. We will also add in trips to local Heritage facilities like the Birthplace of Country Music and the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center. This will include lodging in our conference center with motel rooms and all meals. The cost is $450 single occupancy room and $380 for double occupancy and $300 for triple occupancy.
